About Us

Marshall Brothers Transport Ltd was established in 2019 with the aim of supporting the Scotch Whisky Industry. Our transport services are specifically designed to best serve independent cask brokers, bottling plants and private cask owners. 

We quickly identified that moving small quantities of duty suspended casks was an expensive and complicated task for customers. We believe the service we provide ensures the best value for money and the most simple solution for single cask uplifts.

Based in Portsoy, Aberdeenshire the bulk of our work moves between the ‘Speyside’ region and the central belt of Scotland with all its bottling plants. We do however travel anywhere required to uplift or deliver including the Scottish Isles and Highlands. 

I’m Phil Marshall and I started the company having worked in transport since graduating university. My passion for driving has involved delivering goods across Europe, from Poland to Malta to Spain and everywhere in between.  

Encompassing what I had learned from the industry in the past 6 years I strive to provide a professional service that serves the requirements of the local area.

Outside of work I have a passion for the outdoors. Riding my motorcycle across the beautiful Scottish countryside or enjoying a walk along the breath taking Aberdeenshire coastline are some of the many benefits of living in this part of the world.
